POLICIES AND GUIDELINES
Cancellations – I require 24 hours notice for cancellations otherwise partial or full fees will apply. Feel free to leave me a voice mail at 613 627-7243 or you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. In cases where the client is ill or has an emergency I may make exceptions to the policy.
Illness – People, clients and therapists, occasionally get sick. I ask that clients that are feeling unwell contact me to reschedule appointments, especially if you have a fever. If you are unsure if you should cancel feel free to contact me to discuss it. In the event that I am ill I will contact you to reschedule your appointment. This is to protect the health of my clients and myself. I will not charge for cancellations with less that 24 hours notice unless it is a repetitive occurrence.
Gratuities – Gratuities are not expected.
Gift Certificates – All gift certificates are non-refundable. They will have an expiry date but this can be extended in certain situations. If the whole value of you gift certificate is not used during your session I will add the remaining value on to your account for use in the future.
Late Arrivals – Arriving late for your appointment may result in a shorter treatment. You will be charged for the full amount of the time booked even you are late.
Receipts – As a registered massage therapist I provide receipts for all of the massage therapy treatments I perform. These receipts follow the rules set out by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and include all the information required for submitting them to your insurance company for reimbursement.
